A water-light lotion for fast, thorough cleansing that removes even the most stubborn makeup. Foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick all dissolve and disappear on contact! With gentle efficiency, this cleansing milk for the face and eyes gives perfectly clean skin in one step. Rediscover purity as your skin breathes and becomes naturally beautiful. 

Directions: Tissue off. Apply to the face and eye with circular movements then remove with a cotton pad. 

 I have tried it on my Solone Gel Like Smoody Pencil (review). It needs more fluid to fully remove my Solone eyeliner I guess it's because Solone pencil is too lasting and strong staying power.

It removed roughly 80% of my Solone eyeliner in the first round. I added more fluid to completely remove the eyeliner. However, it removed my face makeup and even mascara easily. Most importantly, it doesn't sting my eyes like other products even specially formulated to remove eyes makeup.

Tips: After using this product for few times, I found that leaving the cleansing milk on my eye makeup for 1-2 minutes then massage in circular movements, it helps to remove my makeup easier. I normally wipe off with cotton pad. (if I ran out of cotton pad all in sudden, I replace with tissue paper but it's not a good way I know.)

USAGE: Daily, morning and evening.

This serum does reduce my puffiness and dark rings of my eyes after using it for about 1-2 weeks, day and night each time after cleansing face.

 The Light-Pearl applicator I should say like a god-made and does deliver an amazing result. I can notice the difference immediately after using the applicator to massage the ingredients right into my under eyes. It is definitely more hygiene and it leaves you a cooling sensation and you just feel so relaxing like someone is massaging your eyes gently. *sounds creepy?*

As I know this serum has the ingredients of caffeine and other main ingredients. So it proves again that caffeine work well to heal puffiness and dark rings.
So I can actually replace this with my coffee bags if i ran out of this serum or economic not allowed to purchase the second bottle. *sob.sob*

 It claims to have 12 hours shield against UV rays, protective against Hyper-pigmentation and Premature Aging. It also unveils sleeker and hydrating skin, also protection down to Dermis and Collagen Fibers.

This is a trend that took off in Korea, this sunscreen can also be a translucent BB cream for the woman who wants protection and coverage without heavy makeup base looking. The cream helps to protect the skin against harmful UV rays and environmental factors while creating a radiance and an even skin tone.

How to use: Apply after skincare routine (cleanse->toner->serum->moisturizer)and right before make up.

For every normal day: After applying Lancôme UV Expert GN-Shield High Potency Active Protection, I apply a thin layer of loose powder for a lighter and matte finishing.

For special occasions (dating): After applying Lancôme UV Expert GN-Shield High Potency Active Protection, I apply my foundation for a better coverage and more even tone then I pat a thin layer of compact powder. Believe me, it hold all day long! No re-applying till I heading home at night!

Upon application it feels a little greasy, but it dries down to a non-sticky finish within 15 minutes on my face. It has the scent of rose extract which is nice and relaxing too.

It leaves a slight white cast (on the left). Who doesn't hate white cast after applying that sticky sunscreen?! But this one is very minimal. It brightens up my complexion too as you can see. Giving me a radiance on skin. I would say it's more than just a simple sunscreen! It's a sunscreen-BBcream.

Look how sharp is the 0.05 mm exclusive soft-touch brush applicator.
If you like very defined and precisely lined eyes then Maybelline Hyper Sharp is the liner for you! I usually use it to fill the empty spaces among the lashes. Or adding a decent wing at the end of my eyeline. I don't use it to draw the whole eyeline.

 

It has a very soft brush tip. How fine or how thick as you like to have. 

The color is not as pigmented as I expected. But in this case it's not a cons for me as I don't fancy vibrant and pigmented black.

It gives a fine line. This is not the finest I know. I can't make a fine and straight line as my hand was shaking!

This is also why I prefer felt tip personally. It's more sturdy. What do you think?

 I personally prefer felt tip because it is more sturdy while lining. I feel Maybelline Hypersharp Liner tip is too soft and it isn't easy for beginners I believe.

 Sadly, it can be easily rubbed off with clean water. It is basically safe wearing underwater as long as you don't rub your eyes. (is that make sense? *_*). Well, if you hate stubborn eyeliner that takes you ages to rub it off, then this is for you! *teehee*

There's a so called smudger at the other end of pencil. It's actually a small sponge tip for easy blending on your eyelids. 

You can use the smudger to create a creamy eyeshadow look within the 30 seconds before it dries. I believe this is the point making the product so user friendly and popular that having a 30 seconds speedy dry.

 The Limited Edition: Peach, Velvet Sky, Gold Brown.

I think Gold Brown will be my next purchase as it looks totally gorgeous!

 

 This is the only point what I don't like about the product. It is a mess once you started to sharpen it. 

 Features: Duo function of eyeshadow and eyeliner  

This Smoody Eye pencil really dries very fast. You might need to blend it out within 30 seconds. It also means that you have to wait for at least 30 seconds to set it on eyelids to avoid smudging.

Winning Point 1: 30 Seconds Speedy Dry

Winning Point 2: Waterproof

This is how it looks after I rubbed and smudge it hardly under the water flow. You can even see some redness on my skin. But the color stays mostly!

Overall, I like this product. It's easy to use even for beginners. I bought the shade of brown as you all know I prefer brown eyeliner than black. It looks so natural and neutral as a liner or as shadow.

I have oily eyelids and this is such a good news for me and you if your eyelids tend to get oily under the hot and humid day!

Haul + Review: NYX Lip Products (Soft Matte Lipstick)

 

Hello peeps! Today I'm going to do a mini beauty haul on lips products. They are some of my latest beauty purchases- NYX Lip Products Haul. In this post, I included only Soft Matte Lipsticks. 

For Round Lipsticks and the Lacquer Pot I will be doing a separate post, click on the link.

First of all, it seems like everyone is craze about NYX's Matte lip products on YouTube or Beauty Blog. So I have convinced myself to buy a few colors to try out. 

Matte lipsticks can be very tricky. You may have problems such as clumps or it won't glide smoothly or color is uneven. 

I personally think that there are too little product in each tube.

They are not difficult to glide on. But from the above picture you can already see the clump on Hippie Chic.

I am very happy with Audrey. I would have to say out Audrey and Hippie Chic, my favorite is Audrey. The deeper color range such as Audrey is good and color is consistent on my lips. I believe because I have a tanned skin.

This is Matte Hippie Chic, a light, creamy nude-pink color. I find the Hippie Chic is not that flattering on me because it feels dry which is evident by the untoned lines in my lips and chappy lips. The color is not even too no matter how I apply it thin or thick. Nude/ pale range of color such as Hippie Chic color tends to dry out and patchy. I guess this nude/ pale color doesn't suit on my tanned skin. 

P/S: I applied a a thin layer of SKll Lipbalm just to avoid drying my lips out.  Pictures were taken right after I applied the lipstick. Can still see some shine but it appears more matte as it dries out.

There are more than 20 shades available for NYX's Soft Matte range. I made my order at Colours Cosmetics Malaysia for only RM25 each. Find them out! ^^

Pros:

- nice mild fruity smell of the lipstick.

- packaging is simple and ordinary and easy to store.

Cons:

- cannot be worn alone, I need to wear a thin layer of lipbalm before hand.

- textures are not always consistent. Deeper color generally good but nude/pale color tends to dry out and patchy.

- not lasting at all. but when removing it, it stains on lips.

What do you think of NYX's Soft Matte Lipsticks?

I don't believe in their color chart that showing. The color is always a big difference when apply on skin. Same to their lipsticks. As you will see from the picture below, the actual swatch is so different with the color chart that NYX provides.

NYX 936 Sky Glitter Eye/Eyebrow Pencil. Only believe in the color that stained on the pencil itself but not the color chart.

How vibrant and pigmented it shows on my skin.

Pros:
- inexpensive compare to other brands.
- big selection of fun and funky color range.
- smooth application, easy to blend.
- Hypoallergenic and cruelty free.


Cons:
- it claims that non-smearing and applies like cream but holds like gel. But it still smudges on my skin. 

Tip:
 but if use it with vibrant eyeshadow as base, i think the smudging problem will be solved!

Hot Mocha of mine.

The Cottage Pie I ordered. It's filled with potato and minced meat/chicken with tomato sauce.

 I went there a few times with my bestie when we need a light meal and a chat time. To me it will be one of the best bubbly restaurant in Penang.

elf Mechanical Eyelash Curler

 Been using this curler for few weeks now. All to all, it is not my favorite curler. I mean the curler does not have the perfect curl for my eye shape. I think it is because I have a small and round shape of eyes.

It is quite bulky to me to keep in my cosmetic pouch. It comes with a stopper/holder so that the curler would not expand when it's not in using. But compare to my old one (bought it from Sasa) the Sasa one is more convenient but I lost it. T.T

I'm not going to do a Pros and Cons for this curler as I don't really like it in overall. I think I will most probably keep on searching for a better one that suit to my eye shape! ^^
