Review: Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie

Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Color 06 Pink Me Up

Clinique have have really put effort in this Lip Smoothie with Vitamin C and also powered-up the antioxidant. The main ingredients in it are of course Vitamin C, Pomegranate, Acai Berry, Shea Butter and Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter.

The applicator is through a soft and smooth brush, and when you twist the bottom you hear click clack sound and the gloss oozes out. I am kind of addicted to this kind of clicking sound of applicator haha!

I got mine as a Christmas gift from my sibling from Germany. It is in 06 Pink Me Up shade. This Lip Smoothie is available in eight juicy and fruity shades.
But they seem have another brand new set which comes in six shades. (correct me if I am wrong.)

When I first applied it, I totally in love with its moisture, the shimmery texture. It is a very soft pink with flecks of silvery pearl, don't get it wrong that it gives a too shimmery kind of glossy. It actually has a moderate sheer. I think that this shade of Lip Smoothie is just great for conservative go-to-work-makeup as well.

Normally before applying any lip tint. lip gloss or lip color, I surely apply a thick layer of my favorite balm, Nivea Lip Repair & Protection. My lips get instantly bumped and smooth then!

Pros:
- Not too shimmery and glossy which goes well with me.
- It's a click-pen! I love clicking sound!
- It is quite lasting for 4-5 hours on my lips.
- Contains Vitamins C, E and Shea Butter which really does the moisturizing well.
- Totally scent-free!

Cons:
- I feel it is a little sticky on my lips. I hate when hair stick to my lips!

Repurchase?
No as I am not really a fan of sticky lip gloss. hmm I would rather try on other drugstore brands of lip gloss as Clinique in my country is still pricey for me.
